MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC

Fellowship Committee

 

1. The first family on the list is chair and in charge of getting everyone together to plan the meal.

2. Use the leftover coffee from break for lunch.

3.  Make 5 gallons of sweet tea (the church has a 5 gallon cooler), 3 gallons of lemonade or kool-aid (use mix from the church), 1 gallon unsweetened tea, and water as needed. Have 2 people fill cups with ice and drinks, and serve from serving window in kitchen. (Mark V.E. or Tonya V.D.H. can get free ice (ask in advance).Make 100 cups of coffee for fellowship and use the leftovers for lunch (make thirty cups more for lunch, if needed).

4. Set up 3 large tables in the hallway (from the storage room) for food, as well as the little table for plates, napkins and utensils.

5. Move blue chairs and set up 14 tables with chairs to accommodate.

6. Set all the food and serving utensils on the tables in the hallway.

7. After the meal, make sure everything is clean, the garbage is put out, and everything is back where it belongs.

8. There is a large garbage can in the storage closet in the fellowship hall. Garbage bags are under the left sink in the kitchen.
